My blog began as a way to vent my frustrations surrounding our struggle with infertility. I am now ELATED that it has moved from an infertility to pregnancy blog and finally our baby blog! The scars of infertility will never fade completely, and truthfully I don't want them to. Infertility has impacted our lives in a way nothing else ever could, and I'm very grateful for all it has taught me. At some point we will probably be traveling down this road again in order to complete our family, but for now we are enjoying our amazing little guy! He's so much more perfect than we ever imagined he could be. I guess it's true what they say...good things DO come to those who wait! :o)

31 Weeks!

The days just keep rolling by!  It won't be much longer until pregnancy is just a memory.  How crazy is that?!  Every time I look at the calendar and realize that October is almost over I'm blown away.  I just can't believe how quickly time is passing.  When I'm sleep deprived and exhausted in a few months, I'm sure I'll probably be wishing I could go back to right now :o)  Oh well, that will be a fun adventure as well! 

I don't have much to post today.  The big news from this week was the u/s on Monday.  It's so nice to know how he is positioned, because now when I feel movements I have a better idea of what part of him is causing it.  He definitely likes to moon me a lot.  lol!  This afternoon I had a little butt protruding from my belly.  It looks hilarious.

Well anyway, here is this week's picture!  31 weeks, holy cow!

    Oh wow! I cannot believe how much time has passed since I've last been here. I think you had just announced your pregnancy! So happy to see it's going so well for you!

    You are looking great! Hard to believe you only have 9 weeks left. Those 2 months will go by so quickly with all your school breaks and the holidays! I have a quick question for you....what color & brand did you get for the crib? I really like that color. Thanks!

    Thanks! The crib is the Sorelle Verona Lifetime Crib at Babies R Us. They only carry it in one color, Espresso. We were fine with it because all of our other furniture is really dark like that, so we wanted dark furniture. It was kind of a pain in the butt getting it. They have had a really hard time keeping it in stock, so if you want one, you'll probably need to start checking on it now. It took us a couple of months to get it.

    Thanks! We looked at a Sorelle last night at Babies R Us and the Espresso color was almost black. But yours doesn't look quite that dark. The lady was saying that one crib wasn't even available to order it in b/c they were so swamped with orders that they can't keep up - maybe that was the same crib. Regardless, the baby's room looks so nice! Hope you have a great shower on Sunday.
