My blog began as a way to vent my frustrations surrounding our struggle with infertility. I am now ELATED that it has moved from an infertility to pregnancy blog and finally our baby blog! The scars of infertility will never fade completely, and truthfully I don't want them to. Infertility has impacted our lives in a way nothing else ever could, and I'm very grateful for all it has taught me. At some point we will probably be traveling down this road again in order to complete our family, but for now we are enjoying our amazing little guy! He's so much more perfect than we ever imagined he could be. I guess it's true what they say...good things DO come to those who wait! :o)

Christmas!

Well I've slacked again, but at least it wasn't two months since my last post!  What an amazing Christmas we had this year with our little man!  Although he really couldn't have cared less about opening presents, he sure enjoyed the tree.  I was pleasantly surprised that he didn't bother it all that much either.  The look on his face each time I'd plug it in, was priceless.  It was like he was seeing the most amazing thing in the world each and every time.

We had a very busy holiday, but were lucky to be able to see almost all of the extended family.  That doesn't happen very often, so it was nice to spend time with them, even if it was a quick visit.  I could ramble more, but I'll let the pictures do the talking.  G is a very lucky, spoiled (in a good way) little boy.  He has so many people that love him, it just amazes me how much people care about him!  We owe a lot everyone for his wonderful Christmas.  Even though he didn't really care to open his gifts, he sure has enjoyed playing with them!

 Finding our Christmas tree!

The tree is up and decorated!

Stockings (Griffin now has a matching stocking, but we didn't have it yet.)

I had Matthew cut a piece from the bottom of the tree to make an ornament for G!

Daddy and G with the tree :o)

What is this?!

Opening his first present!

Grandpa Gary and me playing with my new train.

So much love for this little guy!

The bells made pretty sounds!

Talk about a bowl of fun!

Up next, the big first birthday!  I'll save that for another post though :o)

I am so glad you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and G enjoyed all his new toys and the tree. What a great idea with the tree ornament! Wishing you a happy new year and a very happy birthday to Griffin!!! :)
