My blog began as a way to vent my frustrations surrounding our struggle with infertility. I am now ELATED that it has moved from an infertility to pregnancy blog and finally our baby blog! The scars of infertility will never fade completely, and truthfully I don't want them to. Infertility has impacted our lives in a way nothing else ever could, and I'm very grateful for all it has taught me. At some point we will probably be traveling down this road again in order to complete our family, but for now we are enjoying our amazing little guy! He's so much more perfect than we ever imagined he could be. I guess it's true what they say...good things DO come to those who wait! :o)

16 Weeks!

Well G is 16 weeks old now!  Getting bigger by the day and so much fun too!  His little giggle is so infectious.  I've been taking videos of him playing with new toys then playing the videos back for him to watch.  He is enthralled by them!  Watching himself play and hearing himself giggle just send him into more giggling fits.  I find myself laughing right along with him most of the time.  It's amazing just how happy one tiny little person can make me :o)

Even on days like today, when he decided to begin his day at 4:45am (on a Saturday no less) as frustrated as I was to be awake at that time, the grin on his face when I would walk up to his crib and pick him up was the greatest thing I've seen in a long time.  There is nothing quite like seeing the happiness and excitement in your child's face just because they see you.

Just a few more weeks and school is out for the summer.  I absolutely cannot wait for the year to be over so I can spend all day with my little sweetie.  I don't have a lot of new things to report so this post will be short compared to the others.  Of course though, I cannot post without a picture or two!
